Rotarian Mike Messenger has looked
after this competition for us since the end of the last century. 250
schoolchildren from Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan competed all day on
Sunday in this tournament which is organised by the Welsh Chess Union and in
particular Hugh Price.
