The Rotary car parks have been our major fundraiser since 2000, thanks to our partnership with Cardiff University and the Temple of Peace. Our careful planning and attention to detail during this time has ensured that this project continues to be successful.
Our accumulated income to date has
exceeded £400,000, and every penny has been donated to hundreds of worthwhile
causes, whilst providing a welcome service for visitors to Cardiff for events,
and promoting the work of Rotary in the community.
We open for major events at the
Principality Stadium and pre Christmas shopping weekends and anything else in
the city centre likely to attract a visitors, e.g. RHS Flower Show, cricket
test matches, cheese festivals, polo events, etc. We normally open at 9.00 a.m.
and can be full by 11.30 a.m. on busy days.
The price? This is usually £8 to park all day, which is excellent value for money in the city centre.
